Within this lesson plan, I discussed algorithms and coding for an elementary school class. Students, in this case elementary school students, will learn computational thinking and computer science by doing several coding activities. Along with the coding activities, the students also had to complete a Kahoot game. It has good educational value because students get to learn early on material that will most likely be necessary for them in the future. Linked to the title is the lesson plan.
Within this lesson, I talk about cyberbullying. Specifically, problems associated with it, how to mitigate it, and definitions of it. This lesson plan pertains more so to elementary school students. Along with gaining a general knowledge of cyberbullying, students were able to further their newfound knowledge of the topic through playing a game board. The educational value within this is students, along with having fun through playing a game board, also get to learn things such as what is cyberbullying, see examples of cyberbullying, and real life consequences of poor digital citizenship.

In the Inquiry Based Lesson, students were assigned to portray President James Madison in a video. This video would then be graded upon how much knowledge students convey about The War of 1812. The lesson was dedicated to having students learn the material in an inquiry based process. The educational value with this is the students get to be immersed with the lesson. They not only learn the concepts of the War of 1812, but also, as stated, get to think as if they were James Madison.
This Jeopardy Game is a badge that I completed for my computers in education class. Within this badge, I have many US History concepts that can be utilized for a semester or year ending exam. These concepts range from the Revolutionary War, to the Era of Good Feelings, to the Cold War. The game will not only ensure students remain engaged, but entertained with the material as well. Lastly, it will give myself as the educator a good idea of how my students are doing in the class. You will see some of what the Jeopardy game looks like and the topics within the game below, ranging from the Era of Good Feelings to the contemporary period, thereby showing its educational value.

In this video, the War of 1812 is discussed from start to finish through art on a white board. This art will resemble characters such as James Madison to events such as the burning of the White House by the British. The main purpose for this video was just to provide a quick overview of the War of 1812. As a teacher, I could utilize the video for both a lesson-starting activity and a lesson-ending activity, due to the video's versatility with regards to information. With the duration of the video not being too long and the expansive material within it, students get a great educational experience out of it.
